Where is the biggest "Bang for your Buck" and your time?
Each dealers AMSOIL business is different. We all have our own strengths and weaknesses. The key is to determine what works best for you! Where should you spend a majority of your time?
Some of my thoughts. When I first got going with AMSOIL I focused on ROTS accounts. Why? Because to me that was the biggest bang for my buck. ROTS accounts paid a 20% cash commission plus 20% of the commission credits. This seemed like the best way to get cash flow coming into our business.
Since that time AMSOIL has increase the commercial accounts payout to match ROTS (Commercial used to only pay 10% cash)
So if I were first getting started I would seek out local commercial and retailer type of accounts. I believe in this so much that I called our dealer training site Account Direct.
Account Direct
25 Commercial and/or Retail-on-the-Shelf accounts
1000 Commission Credits
As your business grows you may determine that there are other areas that you could be working to give you more bang for your buck.
Trade Shows allow you to get in front of a lot of people in a short period of time
Online Marketing works while you are sleeping and doing other things
Sponsoring dealers multiplies your efforts. Training a sales force that could be out there building their own business allows you to create time and money freedom. It's the bedrock of the business opportunity.
The key is exploring the various ways to build your business by talking with your sponsor, your direct jobber, us, or other dealers. Learn what others are doing and see if that may be a good fit for you. There is no right or wrong way to building your business. The only wrong way is to do nothing and hope that you succeed...That never works.
