Who's getting excited? AMSOIL has just announced the dates for the 50th Anniversary Convention in Duluth Minnesota. Mark Your Calendars! July 20-22, 2023! We have not missed a single convention since we first went back in 2003. (the 30th) What better way to celebrate the success of your AMSOIL Business than to travel to the corporate headquarters and meet all the hard working employees that help make your success a reality. Besides the weather is perfect in
July in Duluth and it's a business expense. So planning your vacation next year, drag yourself and your family to Duluth. We'll be there and hope you will be too. PS if you are planning on going please let us know. We would like to have at least 20 dealers from our team come! Reminder: Customer Certification Required to Appear on Dealer Locator timer In May, the “Locator Certified” designation was officially retired, creating the need to set a new standard for Dealers to appear on the AMSOIL Dealer Locator. Effective June
1, 2022, Dealers must be Customer Certified to appear on the Locator, helping ensure customers are connected with active, knowledgeable Dealers and receive the best possible service. While this change took effect June 1, the Locator was only recently updated to include Dealers who meet the updated qualifications. Not sure how to get Certified? Check out the details here.

We are all about helping you succeed with your AMSOIL business. Sponsoring What is sponsoring? The ability to increase a quality sales force is
important to the growth of any business, and your AMSOIL Dealership is no exception. Sponsoring is the primary way of doing so within the framework of the AMSOIL Opportunity Simply put, "Sponsoring is the best way to maximize your effort" Why should I
sponsor? Sponsoring increases your income, expands your business, provides security and leads to personal recognition Is this a pyramid scheme? - No! Pyramid Schemes are illegal period.
- AMSOIL uses the
independent dealership to expand business in an efficient manner by allowing dealers to build out sales teams.
Who should I sponsor? - People who value AMSOIL products. These could be current customers, like preferred customers
- People who desire to start a side hustle or their own
business
- Hard-working, self-starting, stable people
- People with experience in sales, people that are mechanically inclined, and that are enthusiasts in some area that uses lubricants
- People in or nearing retirement looking for additional income. Some of the top AMSOIL Dealers had retired from a different occupation
- People who value time and money freedom. Who would want to be able to do what they want, when they want, with who they want for however long they
want.
- Successful People, people who already know what success looks like can be invaluable to your team
- "People" people do you know someone who is friendly and likes to talk?
- Busy people. This seems counter intuitive, but people that are busy are good at taking on more projects, especially once they understand the value of an AMSOIL Dealership
- Husband/Wife teams. Many top dealers work with their spouses to increase their effectiveness. Many married couples
have opposite strengths and weaknesses. Some may be better at organization or paperwork, while the other spouse might be better at sales, product knowledge etc.
I sponsored 1, 3, 10 dealers and none are doing anything. Does this even work? - Sponsoring is the long game of your business.
- Sponsoring just a few people is not a typical strategy to see how
it works. Sponsoring frequently you will find some gems that take the business by the horns. Some can even be top leaders in the company. But you have to be willing to get out there and talk about the opportunity and present it to many people.
- Talking with one of the AMSOIL CEO's at a convention several years ago he said that most dealers on average, it takes sponsoring about 100 dealers to find one that will reach the Direct Jobber level. Some could do it faster, that's just the
average.

Would you like another place to be found on the internet? Getting listed on our Buy Local Directory can help you get found. True story, one dealer had a listing, then took it down...When I asked why they said because our listing was above their website on Google. Once I explained that this is a good thing and having 2 listings on Google is better than one, they put their listing back up.
Another story, we received a message from one of our dealers ROTS accounts. They wanted to take their listing down because they kept "getting calls for AMSOIL" even though they were not stocking it and decided to quit the ROTS program. We pulled their listing, we can't help people that "hate money"....

BTW, there are no "back end" links to AMSOIL. Your listing and what you put on it is yours to do with. We made it this way because we want you and your retailer/installers to get the calls and make the sales.
Even if you are not stocking AMSOIL, that's okay. You can still get a call and hopefully help out someone and get a new customer. It's always good if you can get them on the phone, find out what they need, what they do and find the appropriate program for them. Many times we ask people what they do for a living or where they work and they qualify for a commercial or ROTS account. Sometimes they will become a PC (with our encouragement) and even better
decide to become a dealer when we present the AMSOIL Business Opportunity.
