Goal Setting
What goals are you setting for 2023? Looking back on 2022 understanding on what work well for your business and what you would like to change? Reflecting on your strengths and weaknesses, what are you going to do
differently?
Here are some ideas:
Set goals for how many new accounts you would like to register. Dealers, PC's, Commercial or Retailer/Installer accounts. I can tell you it gets really fun when you have 100 of each! If you don't have any, start with 10 each! It's a process
Customer communications. Do you reach out to your customers? Are you available if they have questions or need assistance with product recommendations or shipping problems?
Marketing, what type of marketing are you doing? Online like Facebook, YouTube, Google...Face to face marketing like trade shows and events are you doing cold
calls with local business owners?
Training: Are you constantly learning about the AMSOIL products and the marketing plan? Are you customer certified at all levels? Customer, Dealer, Commercial and Retailer?
Personal Development? Do you listen to positive and uplifting information. There are many success
oriented podcasts available for free. Reading books on success, leadership, sales, marketing etc

What is the role of a sponsor?
Sponsoring allows you the ability to grow a team of dealers to exponentially grow your AMSOIL Business. "Sell for today's income, Sponsor for tomorrows income" Long range planning in your AMSOIL
business should include sponsoring as there may be a time in the business when you are unable to get out and build your business. You may become disabled or become too old to work at your business regularly. We've seen spouses over the years that the main spouse that worked the business pass away and their income continued to increase without any inputs from that surviving spouse. This is powerful!
As a sponsor/upline we are here for mentorship and training. This is your own business but you don't have to work it alone.
As a sponsor/upline it's important to be available to answer questions and provide guidance.
Understand and know the products, the sales channels and how to build a successful business
Help dealers get off to a good start. Training available in the dealers zone will help new
dealers get started fast. If your dealer is local offer to meet or to do work together on local events or accounts.
Build a community. This allows many dealers with various backgrounds and experience to weigh in and help each other grow. We do this with our AMSOIL Dealer facebook group. Check it out. facebook.com/groups/1113058842070116
Achieving
higher levels. We all want to be recognized. We strive to see dealers on our team doing outstanding things and promote them. Recognition is just a fun thing to achieve!
The actual question is: Do you actually need your sponsor to build your AMSOIL Business?
No you do not. All the tools necessary are available to you as a dealer. You have the AMSOIL Dealers zone, you have corporate support
and you have others in your upline that are willing to help you out.
When we got started back in 2000 our sponsor was of no help what so ever. We decided that we wanted build a large and successful business so we sought out mentors and mentorship relationships with dealers as well as industry leaders (network marketing) We have strived to continue to learn about the business and how to best grow
AMSOIL for our own success.
Don't let lack of help from your sponsor or upline stop you from achieving success. "If it is to be, it's up to me" as the saying goes.
AMSOIL Buy Local 3.0 is finally here!
We came up with the idea of starting AMSOIL Buy Local back in 2015 to help dealers on our team and their accounts get found online. By having a
directory website dealers can pull their resources by creating listings for themselves and their Retailer accounts. Each listing is an individual page on the website. Currently there are over 380 listings.
Buylocal 1.0 directory got messed up and the support for the theme ended
Buylocal 2.0 never really worked well and we finally had to do something
different.
Buylocal 3.0 we enlisted the help of a web developer that has made many directory sites and created our directory from scratch instead of using a theme. The map works great now and so does the search. Give

All dealers in our group have free access to create an AMSOIL listing for yourself and any Retailer accounts that you set up. We don't have any stocking requirements to be on the site. Just answer the phone when someone calls you. If you are a stocking AMSOIL dealer be sure to list that in your description.

How close are you to your goal? There’s still time to hit your target before the year is up, and we’d love to see more than 6,000 Dealers reach a higher level in 2022.
Setting realistic and attainable goals is key to success in AMSOIL. The new Compensation Plan will surely allow more dealers to realize success, especially early on!

It's so darned easy to get an AMSOIL Website. When we got started back in 2000 there was no easy way to have a website. We had to make our original site from scratch, using HTML coding. Yes I learned all
that so we could have an internet presence.
Today it's easy! AMSOIL offers dealer websites that are economical and easy to use or you can have your own custom made website.

HOW DO I CREATE A DEALER-NUMBER TRANSFERRING LINK TO A PAGE ON AMSOIL.COM, AMSOIL.CA OR BLOG.AMSOIL.COM?
Dealer-number transferring links are URLs to corporate AMSOIL webpages
with your Dealer number attached.
These links allow you to direct prospective customers and Dealers to the information they need while also keeping them connected to you as a Dealer and ensuring you receive commissions on any purchase they make.
Sending an email or message from your device: • Navigate to the target page on AMSOIL.com, AMSOIL.ca or blog.AMSOIL.com. •
Highlight the complete URL from the navigation bar in the web browser. • Hold Ctrl-C to copy. • Hold Ctrl-V to paste URL into personalized email, text or direct message. • Add “?zo=1234567” to the end of the URL (use your actual Dealer number). • If there is already a question mark anywhere in the URL you selected, use an “&” instead of a question mark. • The link should appear with blue underlined text.
Here are examples of how to use a Dealer-number transferring link to quickly and effectively communicate with your customers, friends and prospects:

Many times I'll take a screen shot of the registration page for getting their account login and highlight where it lists us as their servicing dealer
If possible I also offer to help them setup their account to make sure it's done right.
Unfortunately how the internet cookies works if they were to click on another dealers site/link then setup their account they may accidentally get tied to that previous dealer. If you don't catch it within 30 days after their registration you won't be
able to switch them to you. Keep this in mind.
Are you using QR codes?
Many people today are using QR codes for printed material. We recently did a tradeshow and made stickers with a QR code on the back so that people could easily register with us.
