AMSOIL is making a big push with their training for Commercial and Retailer accounts. Once of the most unique things and what attracted us to the company over 20 years ago was the ability to work with
business owners. Actually we still have our first AMSOIL retailer we signed up in January of 2000. (EZ Rider in El Paso, amsoilbuylocal.lube-direct.com/dealers/e-z-rider/) That is one heck of a track record.
When we first started working with our Direct Jobber Jim Ball he said, get 100 accounts doing $100 a week, you would earn 20% or $2000 a week.
With 52 weeks in a year that is $104,000 per year. When I'm talking accounts I'm talking Commercial and Retailer/Installer accounts.
Step 1. Complete Retail and Commercial Basic Training (Under programs in the dealers zone)
Step 2. Watch Commercial Account and Retail account training videos (Under Digital Library in the dealers zone)
Step 3. Pick a niche or two and learn about these customers needs and problems.
Step 4. Work the sales process
Step 5. Build relationships
How are you setting yourself apart?
Do you have your own website? What about your own Brand Name? Do you interact with your customers and ask for referrals? There is a lot that goes on in building and running a successful AMSOIL business. You can learn this on your own, or pay others to help you.
We maintained our own websites. www.lube-direct.com for years. Several years ago we hired someone to help maintain it for us. This took a lot off our plate so that we could focus on what we're good at.
Outside the box thinking can help you get new customers! The beauty of the AMSOIL Opportunity is that you are free to come up with your own marketing. Many franchise like companies won't let you do it. As long as you follow the guidelines in the G4000 AMSOIL Dealer Policies and Procedures (located in the dealers zone under digital library /literature /dealer literature)
Do you accept payments?
We've been set up for years with various methods of payment including Square (to accept credit cards) as well as CashApp, Venmo and even Paypal. Recently we decided to add crypto to our payment method.

HOW DO I CREATE A DEALER-NUMBER TRANSFERRING LINK TO A PAGE ON AMSOIL.COM, AMSOIL.CA OR BLOG.AMSOIL.COM?
Dealer-number transferring links are URLs to corporate AMSOIL webpages
with your Dealer number attached.
These links allow you to direct prospective customers and Dealers to the information they need while also keeping them connected to you as a Dealer and ensuring you receive commissions on any purchase they make.
Sending an email or message from your device: • Navigate to the target page on AMSOIL.com, AMSOIL.ca or blog.AMSOIL.com. •
Highlight the complete URL from the navigation bar in the web browser. • Hold Ctrl-C to copy. • Hold Ctrl-V to paste URL into personalized email, text or direct message. • Add “?zo=1234567” to the end of the URL (use your actual Dealer number). • If there is already a question mark anywhere in the URL you selected, use an “&” instead of a question mark. • The link should appear with blue underlined text.

Many times I'll take a screen shot of the registration page for getting their account login and highlight where it lists us as their servicing dealer
If possible I also offer to help them setup their account to make sure it's done right.
Unfortunately how the internet cookies works if they were to click on another dealers site/link then setup their account they may accidentally get tied to that previous dealer. If you don't catch it within 30 days after their registration you won't be
able to switch them to you. Keep this in mind.
Are you using QR codes?
Many people today are using QR codes for printed material. We recently did a tradeshow and made stickers with a QR code on the back so that people could easily register with us.

thank you, that could be via text, email, phone calls and even real greeting cards in the mail.
